Fruity Breakfast Oatmeal with Nuts

Who doesn’t love a delicious bowl of oatmeal for breakfast! This oatmeal is loaded with fruit, nuts and seeds. It tastes like pure heaven in the bowl.

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups of rolled oats

  • 3 1/2 cups of water

  • pinch of salt

  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon

  • 1/2 pure vanilla extract

Bowl water and salt, add oatmeal. Reduce heat, simmer and cook for approx. 8 minutes until oatmeal is full cooked. Add cinnamon and vanilla.

  • Dairy free milk of choice. I use almond milk.

Toppings:

slice bananas, strawberries, blueberries, pecans, hemp seeds, drizzle of maple

Personal preference:

Some like their oatmeal with more milk or less, different kinds of fruits or different kinds of nuts. If you have nut allergies altogether, omit the nuts and add some pumpkin seeds to reap the health benefits from these nutritious seeds. In the all of it, you can make so many variations with oatmeal. Play around and enjoy! But remember…. Lots of fruit!
